Join our award winning team and make a real difference to people’s lives!
An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join Jen’s Special Place as a Part-Time Bereavement Support Assistant. This role is perfect for someone who wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of bereaved children and their families.
As a Bereavement Support Assistant, you will play a key role in the day-to-day functioning of the charity. Your responsibilities will include a variety of administrative and support tasks that help ensure our services run smoothly. You’ll be a crucial part of our small, dedicated team, supporting our mission to provide opportunities for connection, as well as support and guidance to children experiencing loss- —and to the parents and carers walking alongside them.
We are looking for someone who brings empathy, compassion, and sensitivity to their work. This is more than an administrative role—your contributions will directly support families navigating grief.
The role entails flexible home working! Flexible home working makes it easier to balance the demands of a meaningful job with other personal commitments.
There may be an opportunity for this role to be extended past 6 months, funding permitting.
